Application Dates

We are currently accepting applications for the next MSITM cohort! There are four rounds of application deadlines. Note that there are two final deadlines; one for international students, and one for U.S.-based students.

Round 1: October 14, 2025 

Round 2: January 13, 2026 (Final international deadline) 

Round 3: March 31, 2026  

Round 4: May 5, 2026 (Final U.S. deadline) 


Frequently Asked Questions

What is the program start date?
The MSITM full-time, on-campus program begins in July with graduation the following May. 
How is the program delivered?
The Master of Science in Information Technology & Management program will delivered as an in-residence program on the UT campus in Austin.
Is tuition different in-state versus out-of-state?
Yes. In-state tuition is $54,000 and out-of-state tuition is $58,000.
What are the application deadlines?
The application is currently open. Texas McCombs MS Programs has four application rounds with corresponding decision release dates, which are available on our admissions webpage. We encourage you to apply as early as possible, as later rounds are filled on a case-by-case basis and based on availability.

What tests are required for the application?
GRE or GMAT test scores are optional for all applicants. TOEFL or IELTS for all international students are required (waivers are available).

I am an international applicant. Can I apply after the final international deadline?
No. The final international deadline is set in order to allow time for visa processing. Additionally, due to a high volume of applications, we cannot accept applications after the final deadline.
Can I apply as a current undergraduate at UT?
Yes you can. Current UT Austin undergraduate students can apply using the MS Bridge Program admissions option for all four full-time Master of Science programs.
