Flexibility
The Master of Science in Business Analytics program offers two formats: the full-time, in-residence option held on the UT campus in Austin, and the online option for working professionals, which includes five on-campus immersive sessions.
Formats
Full-time students can earn their degree in just 10 months on campus, while working professionals can complete the program in 23 months through a blend of asynchronous and synchronous online learning, enhanced by five immersive in-person sessions.

What is the program start date?
The MSBA on-campus, full-time cohort start date is July 2025. The MSBA Working Professional cohort start date is May 2025.
How is the program delivered?
The Master of Science in Business Analytics program offers two formats: the full-time, in-residence option held on the UT campus in Austin, and the online option for working professionals, which includes five on-campus immersive sessions.
Is tuition different in-state versus out-of-state?
Yes. In-state tuition is $50,500 and out-of-state tuition is $55,500.
What are the application deadlines?
The applications opened on August 28, 2024. There will be four rounds of applications. Application deadline dates are listed above. 
What tests are required for the application?
GRE or GMAT test scores are optional for all applicants. TOEFL or IELTS for all international students are required (waivers are available).
I am an international applicant. Can I apply after the final international deadline?
No. The final international deadline is set in order to allow time for visa processing. Additionally, due to a high volume of applications, we cannot accept applications after the final deadline.
Can I apply as a current undergraduate at UT?
Yes you can. Current UT Austin undergraduate students can apply using the MS Bridge Program admissions option for the on campus, full-time MSBA program.
